COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Emergency First Responder (EFR) course is a comprehensive CPR and first aid training program designed for divers and non-divers. The course covers a variety of emergency scenarios and teaches participants how to recognize and respond to medical emergencies. It covers primary and secondary care through both knowledge development and practical application.
CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of the EFR course, participants will receive an Emergency First Responder certification from PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors), which is recognized worldwide.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of the EFR course, participants will have the knowledge and skills to:
- Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
- Perform CPR and use an AED (automated external defibrillator)
- Provide primary and secondary care for injuries and illnesses
- Administer oxygen in emergency situations
- Communicate with emergency services and other first responders.
