COURSE DESCRIPTION
Divemaster course is the first professional level of diving education offered by PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) . It is designed to train individuals to become dive professionals, who are able to assist instructors in training and leading dives, as well as independently guide certified divers. The course includes both knowledge development and practical training, and covers topics such as dive theory, dive leadership, and dive supervision.
CERTIFICATION
Participants will receive a Divemaster certification from PADI, which is recognized worldwide. This certification allows the individual to work as a professional divemaster in a wide range of diving facilities and operations.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Participants will have the knowledge and skills to:
- Assess and manage risks in a variety of diving environments
- Plan and lead dives for certified divers
- Assist instructors in training and certifying divers
- Supervise and manage diving activities
- Understand the business of diving and how to effectively interact with divers
- Understand dive theory, physics, physiology, and the environment, as well as dive planning and dive leadership.
